Looking for nature and adventure? Then Bjurholm, the smallest municipality in Sweden, is the place to be! Our beautiful vacation home is situated right in the heart of Swedish nature, with amenities relatively close by.

The nearest (small) supermarket is a 10-minute drive away, and just 5 km away you'll find a small ski resort (Agnäsbacken) with 7 km of slopes for cross-country skiing, downhill skiing, and snowboarding. Älgens Hus in Balsjö, the only moose farm in Europe, is a 20-minute / 25 km drive.

The student city of Umeå, with an airport offering connections to Stockholm, Helsinki, and other destinations, is an hour's drive (60 km) away.

Why Bjurholm?

Although we live in the Netherlands, Sweden in general and Bjurholm in particular have remained close to our hearts. Not only because we reunite with family and friends with each visit, but also due to the beautiful surroundings that offer so much beauty in both summer and winter.
